Official Statement from Wicked Oaks Festival

We are aware of online reports regarding attendee injuries or fatalities during Wicked Oaks this past weekend. According to information shared with event organizers by Austin-Travis County EMS, there were 2 hospital transports on Saturday and 5 on Sunday. Austin-Travis County EMS was on standby and on-site throughout the weekend, working alongside our licensed medical teams. EMS has advised they are not aware of any deaths or critical patients among those transported from the festival.

We are also aware of a tragic vehicle accident in the Bastrop area, involving individuals traveling home after the event. It is our current understanding that a truck ran a red light and caused the wreck. With the family's permission, we can share that the individual who passed away was Anthony Pike. Details of Anthony's Celebration of Life event in Dallas will be shared soon. Our community is small, and losses like this are felt deeply. We are profoundly saddened by this tragedy and extend our heartfelt condolences to Anthony's family, friends, and all who are affected.

Commitment to Safety & Community

Safety guides every decision we make on-site. Our medical teams, security, and production staff work from a coordinated plan designed with local partners and licensed emergency providers.

Thank you to our guests, staff, vendors, artists, and community partners for their patience and support throughout an unpredictable weekend.

We will continue sharing verified updates as needed.
