Accommodations

We are dedicated to providing an accessible festival experience to all fans. Wicked Oaks will feature an array of accessible features, including parking, restrooms, viewing sections and more.

Festival Grounds

The festival site consists of a mixture of surfaces, such as dirt/sand paths, grass, and blacktop/concrete and some hills. As with any outdoor setting, rain can impact the conditions. Distances between areas in the festival sites and between stages vary. Since the event includes camping, stages can be up to a mile away from the campgrounds.

The festival Accessible Services can assist patrons with disabilities with mobility around the festival grounds. Please contact us using the Request Accommodation form below or by emailing ada@wickedoaksfest.com

Camping Grounds

To camp in the Accessible area (ADA camping), you will need to fill out the ADA accommodation form at the bottom of this page. All disabled patrons will enter event parking and request ADA camping parking. You must have a valid disabled persons parking placard or license plate and matching documentation. Accessible spaces are located near the ADA restrooms, showers, and ADA customer service.

Once you’re parked, ADA camping features a dedicated customer service area to assist with transportation or other needs. Accessible Services Camp Host is also the designated area for recharging wheelchairs, scooters, and other medical devices. Guests use this power at their own risk, and the Wicked Oaks is not responsible for any personal equipment. General customer service can also assist ADA patrons.

Entering the Festival

For cars: All disabled patrons will enter event parking and request ADA camping parking. You must have a valid disabled persons parking placard or license plate and matching documentation. Companion cars must arrive together. No spaces are saved for a later arrival.

Viewing Sections

Wicked Oaks will incorporate accessible viewing sections at each stage, generally next to VIP sections. These accessible viewing sections are intended for guests who use wheelchairs, have significant mobility disabilities, or have difficulty standing for long periods of time. Staff and/or security will manage the viewing sections accordingly.

Customer Service

Customer service is one place where guests with disabilities can get information and request services inside the festival grounds.

At camping festivals, customer service is also available in the campgrounds at the Accessible Services Camp Host Tent.

Restrooms

Wicked Oaks will include accessible port-a-potties in both festival and camping areas adjacent to the general restroom facilities, and always near the accessible viewing platforms.

Showers

Festival campgrounds will include accessible showers. The ADA Customer Service booth in camping can assist with more information and location.

Powered Mobility Devices

Motorized wheelchairs and three- or four-wheeled scooters are permitted at Wicked Oaks. For safety reasons, guests may NOT use personal golf carts, all-terrain vehicles, two-wheeled scooters, or motorbikes, either in the venue itself or in the parking and camping areas.

Prescription Medicines

Prescriptions must have a prescription label and a matching photo ID. For the safety of our staff and patrons, please dispose of all medical waste/syringes in the proper receptacles in our medical tents. Guests needing a refrigerated or cool location to store their medicines can contact us using the Request Accommodation form below or by emailing ada@wickedoaksfest.com to make those arrangements.

Website

For specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any event, or particular web page, please contact us using the Request Accommodation form below or by emailing ada@wickedoaksfest.com. If you do encounter an accessibility issue with our web pages please be sure to specify the web page in your email, and we will make all reasonable efforts to make that page accessible.

Service Animals

Wicked Oaks welcomes and supports the rights and attendance of all persons with disabilities that rely on the special skills of a trained service animal. What we DO NOT support, and will not tolerate, are pets being misrepresented by their owners as service animals. Please leave your pet at home.

Service Animal Definition

A 'service animal' is defined as "any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the handler's disability." Emotional support or comfort animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and therefore are not allowed at the Wicked Oaks. Please note that all service dogs, including those from out of state, are subject to local dog ordinances, which include a valid rabies certificate.

Service Animal Policies

For patrons with disabilities who wish to bring their legitimate service animal to the Wicked Oaks, we ask that you review and follow the policies outlined below:

  • Service animals must be accompanied by the handler with the disability at all times.
  • Service animals must be under the control and supervision of their handler at all times.
  • Service animals are not permitted to be left unattended under any circumstances.
  • Handlers are required to be prepared for and clean up after their animals at all times.
  • We reserve the right to remove and/or refuse access to any service animal from the campgrounds or venue if that animal is deemed to be a health or safety threat to festival patrons, staff, or other service animals, or in violation of these policies.
  • All service animals must be credentialed by the festival staff (see Service Animal Procedures).

Service Animal Procedures

All patrons with disabilities attending Wicked Oaks with a service animal will need to have that animal credentialed by festival staff before entering the main gate. This process will be performed quickly and respectfully by Accessibility Staff.

Upon arrival at Wicked Oaks, come to the Access Tent in front of Camp Access. Staff will speak with you, record your contact information, and provide a collar tag for your service animal. Security/Staff will be on the lookout for all animals to have a properly credentialed festival collar tag.

Remember, service animals are allowed, all other dogs are not!
