Welcome

Three festival experiences in one wicked place. The summoning beckons you to the mystical realm of Wicked Oaks. Worlds collide for three days of music, camping & art beneath the enchanted Texas skies.

Hours

The festival takes place on Saturday, October 25th, and Sunday, October 26th, with shows beginning in the afternoon.

The campgrounds open on Friday, October 24th, with the camping exclusive pre-party.

Tickets & Camping

All Wicked Oaks attendees must purchase a festival ticket to attend the event. Festival tickets do not include access to the campgrounds; camping must be purchased separately.

The festival is Saturday, October 25th, and Sunday, October 26th. The campground opens on Friday, October 24th, and includes a camping-exclusive pre-party on Friday.

Lineup

Prepare yourself for a spellbinding lineup beneath the ancient trees of Wicked Oaks. The trinity of Freaky Deaky, Summoning, and ILLfest unite to unleash a magical celebration of music and art.

Location

Carson Creek Ranch, nestled on the banks of the Colorado River in Austin, Texas, is a scenic 58-acre historic venue established in 1851 as a Spanish land grant. The ranch features a waterfront amphitheater shaded by pecan trees just minutes from downtown and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Its open-air stage, camping areas, and expansive grounds offer a unique Texas experience under wide-open skies.

Cashless

Wicked Oaks is a fully cashless event, accepting only digital payments like credit cards, debit cards, or mobile apps for all transactions. Cash will not be accepted on the event grounds.

We are dedicated to providing an accessible festival experience to all fans.

Wicked Oaks will feature an array of accessible features, including parking, restrooms, viewing platforms, and more.

Festival Guidelines

Make the most of our time at the event with a quick peek at the general festival guidelines. Become familiar with what you can and cannot bring along, ensure you have the proper identification, and prepare accordingly.

Ages

Wicked Oaks is open to fans who are ages 18 and above. To purchase and consume alcohol, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Weather

The festival will take place rain or shine, excluding life-threatening weather. Please keep up-to-date on local weather reports and prepare accordingly.

Code of Conduct

  • NO Refunds or Exchanges.
  • NO Sitting on Designated Dance Floor Areas.
  • NO Moshing, Crowd Surfing, or Stage Diving.
  • NO Unauthorized/Unlicensed Vendors Allowed.
  • NO Unauthorized Solicitations, Handbills, Sampling, Giveaways, etc.
  • NO Camping in Parking Lots.

Security

Every attendee (including media and guests) will be searched before entry with a TSA-style search, which includes emptying your pockets and bags, a full pat-down, examining items brought with you, and potentially removing your shoes. Police officers work both inside and outside our events with the aid of K9 units. All narcotics laws are strictly enforced. Event staff reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone.

Zero Tolerance

The use or possession of any illegal drugs or substances will not be tolerated – either inside or outside the venue.

If you are found inebriated at the entrance, security will not allow you to enter the festival. Event staff reserves the right of admittance refusal.

Safety & Medical

In the First Aid tents located throughout the festival, you’ll find teams of medical practitioners ready to care for your every need. If you or a friend is not feeling well, are lightheaded, nauseated, or have another medical need like blisters or a headache, please visit our friendly medical staff and feel free to ask a festival team member for assistance.

Item Policy

Few things are necessary to enjoy the show, but you shouldn’t leave home without a couple of items. Please take a moment to reference our guide, which covers everything you can and cannot bring past the front gates. If an acceptable item is deemed harmful to other patrons at any time, it may be confiscated and retrieved after the event.

  • NO Stickers or Flyers or Promotional Signage.
  • NO Inflated Toys, Balls, Balloons (must arrive un-inflated).
  • NO Sports Equipment.
  • NO Tents, Umbrellas, Hammocks, or Chairs.
  • NO Camping Gear.
  • NO Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, or Other Detergents.
  • NO Hydration Backpacks that contain non-removable and/or opaque bladders, which impede inspection of contents.
  • NO Backpacks, Purses, or Bags larger than 12″ x 12″.
  • NO Multi-Pocket Bags.
  • NO Luggage.
  • NO Unsealed Cigarette Packs.
  • NO Pre-Filled Refillable Vape Devices (Chambers must arrive empty).
  • NO Unsealed Tampons.
  • NO Liquid Makeup.
  • NO Unsealed or Aerosol Sunscreen.
  • NO Outside Food, Beverages, or Candy.
  • NO Musical Instruments (Including Whistles, etc).
  • NO Tactical Gear.
  • NO Costumes that Resemble Public Safety Uniforms (Police, SWAT, Fire, Security, or Medical).
  • NO Walkie Talkies.
  • NO Professional-Grade Tripods, Monopods, Go-Pro Sticks.
  • NO Fireworks, Flammable Products, Projectiles, or Explosives.
  • NO Chinese Lanterns.
  • NO Weapons of any Kind (Including Pocket Knives, Pepper Spray, etc).
  • NO Professional Recording Equipment – Photo, Video, or Audio (Including Detachable Lenses, Tripods, Big Zooms, etc).
  • NO Vending Without Permit.
  • NO Drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
  • NO Bicycles, Scooters, Go Carts, Skate Boards, Hoverboards, or ATVs.
  • NO Open Fires or Grills.
  • NO Generators.
  • NO Pets (Unless it’s a service animal).
  • NO Items deemed as posing a threat to the safe enjoyment of the concert by management.

Costumes

Few rules apply when it comes to dressing for the part at Wicked Oaks. Even if you don't want to shell out for an elaborate costume, there are things you can DIY whether you aim to fright or delight. Work on your disguise this October with simple tricks; we know you can pull it off!

  • Guests must be recognizable from government-issued identification. Includes any full face makeup or paint that would interfere with the identification process.
  • The entire costume must be easily removable.
  • No batteries larger than AA.
  • No Police, Fire Department, SWAT, Security, Military, or Public Safety costumes.
  • No Handcuffs.
  • No weapon or weapon accessories, including swords, daggers, axes, or guns.
  • No chains, ropes, whips, or metal spikes.
  • No glass or ceramic masks or costume pieces.
  • No dust masks or gas masks of any kind.
  • No fake drugs or fake paraphernalia.

Totems

The planning has commenced, preparing for Wicked Oaks with custom-made accessories for the squad, including those beloved totem poles!

Get crafty, and don't hold back on a DIY decorating project; just remember the following totem guidelines to ensure your gear passes through the gates easily.

  • Totems must be made from lightweight materials (e.g., foam, thin-walled PVC).
  • No metal, points, or sharp items.
  • Totems must be under 10 feet tall.
  • Collapsible/telescoping camera extenders that follow guidelines are OK (lightweight/hollow).
  • Inflatables attached to totems must be deflated upon entry.
  • Thin-walled PVC or light wood poles must be no thicker than 1 inch in diameter.
  • We recommend decorated pool noodles for easy entrance through security.
  • Any item deemed dangerous, promoting illegal activity, or hate speech will not be permitted.

Essentials

When it comes to essentials, we highly advise you to wear a pair of comfy dancin' shoes, a big smile, and dress for the fest' in party attire.

  • Wear your festival colors loud and proud, but don't leave home without your ticket and a valid photo ID!

Camping Guide

Make the most of your time in our campgrounds and review our camping guidelines and item policy.

Camping Guidelines

  • All campers must have festival wristbands. No Exceptions.
  • No reserving spots. If groups want to camp together, they must arrive together or have purchased group car camping. We recommend meeting up before arriving to ensure we can accommodate you.
  • When arriving at the campgrounds, the name associated with the order must be present to claim the spot. There are no exceptions. Coordinate and arrive together.
  • Cars parked inside the car camping site cannot be moved once parked for the festival's duration. If you must leave early, contact the Camping Host so security can guide you safely.
  • Any cars leaving the campgrounds during the event must park in the Enchanted Parking Lot upon re-entry. Please note that you cannot drive your vehicle back into the campgrounds.
  • Any cars parked in the Enchanted Parking Lot can leave and re-enter the parking lot during limited hours. Please note that a re-entry fee will apply.
  • Sleeping in your car is strictly prohibited if you are parked in the overnight parking lot.
  • Campgrounds close at 4 PM on Monday, October 27th.
  • All vehicles and campers will be searched upon arrival before entry into the campgrounds. Camping locations are also subject to search.
  • Canned beer and boxed wine are the only alcoholic beverage types allowed in the campgrounds. The limit is 1 case of beer, hard seltzer, or 1 box of wine per person. You must be 21+ to bring in or consume alcohol. No glass is allowed. Attendees can purchase additional beer and wine in the campgrounds and from a full bar menu on the festival grounds.
  • Small Coleman-style propane grills are the only exception to the festival's open-flame rule. Please do not bring charcoal grills, wood, fire pits, tiki torches, fuel, or large propane tanks. All these items will be confiscated at the gates and not returned.
  • Unauthorized solicitation is not allowed anywhere at the festival, including the venue, camping areas, and parking lots.
  • No large sound systems (if neighbors ask you to turn it down, please respect their wishes).
  • If you have a vehicle parked at your campsite, you can sleep in it. However, this can be a serious health risk, and we do not advise this. All vehicles parked must remain off while they are parked.
  • Bicycles are permitted within the campgrounds, but riders must always wear helmets to ensure safety.
  • Wagons are welcome within the camping areas but not in the festival areas.

Camping Item Policy

Be advised that the camping item policy listed below is separate from the festival item policy.

  • NO FIREARMS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • NO Weapons, items that could be used as a weapon, or harmful objects of any kind (pepper spray, etc).
  • NO Illegal substances or paraphernalia.
  • NO Glass of any kind (this includes wine bottles, drinking glasses, pickle jars, large glass mirrors, test tubes, and glass vape juice bottles. Paper or Plastic ONLY.
  • NO Glass lighting. Plastic tipped Christmas-style lights OK.
  • NO Large sound systems (If you are asked to turn it down please respect the people around you and be a good neighbor).
  • NO Gas-powered generators, including any external unit on a recreational vehicle.
  • NO Fireworks or explosives of any kind.
  • NO Open flames of any kind will be allowed. (Camp fires, fire pits, tiki torches, sky lanterns, etc).
  • NO full sized propane grill, charcoal, butane or fires of any kind (small Coleman-style propane grill ok).
  • NO Pets, leave your pets at home except service animals which must have a current health certificate and rabies vaccine.
  • NO scooters, or personal motorized vehicles (including, but not limited to: golf carts, ATVs, motor scooters, powered skateboards).
  • NO Drones.
  • NO box trucks or trailers (a camping trailer is OK, but it is considered an RV which requires an RV pass).
  • NO Vending of any kind is allowed (Sharing yes, selling, no. You know the difference.)
  • NO Fliers.
  • NO Stickers.
  • NO Logo-wrapped canopy tents.
  • NO Branded, wrapped or sponsored vehicles, RVs, tents, etc utilized for marketing purposes.
  • NO Spray paint.
  • NO Paint markers.
  • NO Laser pens or similar focused-light devices.
  • NO Non-Compliant Prescription Medications (See FAQ for Prescription Medication Questions).
  • NO totems over 10 feet in height, constructed of metal or wooden pieces, sharpened elements, or are capable of being pounded into the ground or causing harm to others.
  • NO professional cameras and recording equipment. NO detachable lens over 2″ in length.
  • NO Tanks of compressed air, helium, nitrous, etc.
  • NO Aerosol products/cans except Sunscreen and Bug Spray.

Identification

Apart from the essentials, the most important thing to have is an accepted form of identification. Before heading to the park, ensure your ID is good to go!

Acceptable

  • Any US government-issued driver's license or ID card containing a photograph and date of birth.
  • US or foreign government-issued passport containing a photograph and date of birth.
  • Foreign government-issued driver's license/ID with color photocopy of passport (Not valid for 21+ wristband. To purchase alcohol or enter VIP areas, a physical passport or US ID will be required.).
  • DMV Paper ID (a photo on the Paper ID is required). Please note, at the discretion of security, a 2nd form of ID, such as a passport or government-issued ID, may be required to verify age.

Unacceptable

  • Expired Identification Card.
  • School Identification Card.
  • License/Identification Card issued in countries other than the U.S. or Canada.
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Social Security Card.
  • Federal Immigration Card.
  • Voter Registration Card.
  • Copies of any acceptable forms of identification.

Across the festival grounds, you’ll find several amenities, including all the basics. Preview the list of comforts and conveniences provided on-site to make the most of your time!

Refreshments

Replenish your vital energy as you hop from stage to stage with a quick pit stop at one of our favorite food vendors. Our delectable vendors feature a mix of classic party foods and healthy bites, including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

Vendor Village

Bring your experience to life with a visit to our hand-picked retailers setting up shop on the festival grounds. Stocking a variety of party goods and rave gadgets, the vendor village is sure to get you in the mood to party!

We've also accounted for all the necessities to ensure your stress-free experience. For any forgotten items or to lighten your load, swing by our on-site general store to pick up essentials.

Outlet

At Outlet Mental Health, our mission is to provide accessible resources, support, and relevant activities for individuals navigating mental health challenges and promoting holistic wellness during and beyond the Festival Experience.

We are committed to offering a safe space where those affected by mental illness, as well as their friends and families, can find guidance, understanding, and the necessary tools to foster healing, resilience, and overall well-being.

Through collaboration, compassion, and advocacy, we strive to break down barriers to mental health care and empower individuals to seek help, find hope, and build healthier lives.

Water Refill Stations

We encourage our patrons to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water and sports drinks to replenish the body's electrolytes. While you're here, fill up on H20 at any of our free water stations or purchase water at various concession stands around the venue.

Stay hydrated and represent your Disco family with a reusable water bottle! It's the perfect companion to keep cool and comfortable.

Alcohol

Bars located throughout the festival will serve beer and liquor. Service hours may be limited and you must be at least 21 years of age with valid identification.

Upgrade your experience with a private VIP table with full service. It’s the perfect haven between sets, or during; where drinks are just an arm’s length away!

Lockers

To make sure your festival experience is full of love and light, we're aiming to ease the burden of baggage. Go hands-free where it counts - on the dance floor - and rent a locker to lighten your load.

Measuring approximately 8″ high x 11″ wide x 17″ deep, a personal locker allows you to safely stash your belongings. For extra convenience, choose a locker with phone charging capabilities. Stow away things you don't want to carry, plus keep your phone battery fully charged. Add this dual-purpose item to your festival survival kit and reap the rewards!

Bring your merchandise ticket and ID inside the festival grounds to the locker rental station to redeem your purchase.

Lost & Found

Lose something? Check with Lost & Found; you may be pleasantly surprised that your lost item is waiting for you! Check below for the Lost & Found location and schedule; it varies by day and the item lost. Fans may be required to supply staff with valid identifying information to claim the lost property. We are not responsible for lost or left-behind items; you are solely responsible for your property. Additional Lost & Found details to be shared closer to the event date.
